BELGRADE (Serbia), June 2 (SeeNews) – The Serbian share indices closed mostly lower as turnover rose on Thursday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) inched down 0.18% to 808.19 points after retreating 1.87% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline edged down 0.17% to 1,471.74 on Thursday after closing 1.44% higher in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna advanced 1.27% to 311.04. The index pulled back by 3.71% on Wednesday.
BELEX total turnover swelled to 94.3 million dinars ($1.39 million/966,776 euro) from 37.5 million dinars a day earlier.
Gainers edged losers 18 to 17 as 19 stocks closed flat on Thursday.
Confectioner Bambi Banat [BEL:BMBI] fell 0.04% to 19,991 dinars in the session’s biggest turnover of 29.9 million dinars.
Oil company NIS closed 0.75% higher at 805 dinars in the day’s second largest turnover of 18.9 million dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] picked up 0.17% to end at 3,495 dinars in the third largest turnover of 6.1 million dinars.
Brewer BIP [BEL:BIPB] paced the advancers, closing 7.69% higher at 28 dinars.
Blue chip Jubmes Banka [BEL:JMBN] led the losers, ending 10.37% lower at 13,195 dinars.
