December 6 (SeeNews) - Serbian drug maker Hemofarm, a unit of Germany's Stada, produced a record-high 5.7 billion tablets in 2019, up from 5.6 billion tablets last year, the company said.
The Hemofarm plants in Banja Luka and Podgorica, as well as the Packaging Centre in Serbia's Vrsac, achieved individually the highest output ever in their history, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Stada, which took over Serbian drug maker Hemofarm in 2006, has so far invested more than 300 million euro ($333 million) in the modernisation of its equipment and production facilities, expanding the company's output 2.5 times during the period.
