The government expects an expert team from Egypt to arrive in Serbia on February 10 to check the country's storage capacity as a final step before the launch of exports, Nedimovic said on Saturday, according to a Serbian government press release.

In October, Nedimovic said Serbia hopes to resume wheat exports to Egypt by January 2019 after a 30-year pause. Serbia was put on the list of potential exporters of wheat to Egypt last year, Nedimovic said back then.
Egypt also invited the Serbian government to start talks for the export of beef to the African country, Nedimovic said last month.
