LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 16 (SeeNews) – Slovenian insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Friday, bourse data showed.
Sava Re's shares closed at 16.6 euro, up 1.22% on Wednesday's price.
The LJSE was closed on Thursday for Assumption Day.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] fell the most among the Slovenian blue-chip companies on Friday. Its shares closed 1.75% lower at 28.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 863.59 points, up 0.08%.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover fell to 766.610 euro ($853.176) on Friday from 831,060 euro on Wednesday, as pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed the largest portion – 418,860 euro.
