July 23 (SeeNews) - Romanian construction materials manufacturer TeraPlast Group [BSE:TRP] said on Tuesday that it has appointed Bela Varga as the new general manager of its thermo-insulating carpentry division TeraGlass.
Bela Varga has been working for more than 20 years years in PVC joinery, TeraPlast said in a press release.
"At TeraGlass, we have ambitious goals and ample projects in progress, for which expertise in the field is essential. Mr Varga's professional career and his international experience recommends him fully for this position. Thus, we are confident that TeraGlass will have a sustained growth, in line with the targets we set for the next years," TeraGlass director general Alexandru Stanean said.
In the last four years, Bela Varga has served as general manager of one of the most important PVC joinery manufacturers in the market.
"TeraGlass has grown in recent years and has favourable growth prospects. Together with the team we will continue to develop the brand both locally and abroad," Bela Varga said.
Founded over 10 years ago, the TeraGlass factory in Bistrita produces PVC windows and doors. The factory has production capacity of over 120,000 units per year.
TeraPlast Group's shares traded 1.28% higher at 0.3160 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of 0946 CET on Tuesday.
