May 27 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 12.6% year-on-year to 439 billion lei ($99.6 billion/91 billion euro) in April, compared to a 13.3% increase in March, the central bank, BNR, said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose by 1.2% in April, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, April M3 was 9.6% higher on the year and edged up by 0.9% on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 20.6% on the year to 291.4 billion lei last month, compared to 22.6% in March.
Net foreign assets jumped 9.4% in April, reaching 199.3 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose by 15.3% to 239.8 billion lei.
