September 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose by 7.1% year-on-year in July, after edging down by 0.2% in June, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Thursday.
Sales of intermediate goods rose by 7.7% in the year in July, while capital goods sales grew by an annual 7.8%, INS said in a press release.
Sales of durable goods rose by 13.2%, while sales of energy rose by an annual 12.5% in July. Sales non‐durable goods were 6.8% higher in July this year compared to July 2018.
During January-July, industrial sales were 6.4% higher on the year.
In 2018, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.8%.
