October 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that the decrease of its capital to 3.96 billion lei ($920 million/833 million euro) from 4.73 billion lei has been entered into the trade registry.
Fondul Proprietatea decreased its capital by cancelling some 1.49 billion shares repurchased during its ninth buy-back programme, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Following the capital decrease, Fondul Proprietatea's registered capital is divided in 7,613,970,697 shares with a nominal value of 0.52 lei each.
Fondul Proprietatea shares closed 0.85% higher at 1.19 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
