October 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's Cesarom, owned by the Austrian building materials group Lasselsberger, said it has opened a new ceramic tiles showroom in Bucharest, following an investment of 1 million lei ($200,320/202,568 euro).
In 2022, the company invested more than 2 million euro ($1.97 million) in developing a line for rectifying ceramic tiles and launching new products, it said in a press release on Thursday.
Cesarom expects an annual increase of 12% for its turnover in 2022.
Following investment made at its Sanex facility in Cluj-Napoca, Cesarom launched over 150 new ceramic tiles models this year. Currently, the plant's annual production capacity amounts to over 8 million sq m.
Cesarom was established 60 years ago and is a Romanian ceramic tiles producer. Sice 2004, the company is part of Austrian group Lasselsberger.
