BUCHAREST (Romania), January 16 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 23.1% year-on-year to 130,919 in 2018, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Wednesday.
In December alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania rose by 12.3% to 9,285 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU increased by 12% year-on-year, reaching 519,088 units in 2018. Dacia's market share increased to 3.4% in 2018 compared to 3.1% in 2017.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, edged up by 0.1% year-on-year last year, reaching 15.1 million.
