October 19 (SeeNews) - Romanian telecommunications company RCS & RDS said on Friday it is seeking to employ 300 people in Bucharest and Timisoara.
The vacancies are in the company's sales, mobile telephony, IT , logistics, network development and maintenance, customer service and television divisions, RCS & RDS said in a press release.
"We continue to grow and we want to have the best specialists with us. The success of our company is due to the 13,000 professionals who chose to grow with DIGI," RCS & RDS human resources director Camelia Maria said.
The company looks for both highly qualified specialists, such as Java engineers, SQL and PHP programming engineers, telecommunication engineers with specialist studies, IT specialists with media expertise, social media specialists, and qualified or entry level staff from multiple sectors such as: sales, call center, technical, administrative and accounting.
RCS&RDS, founded by Romanian businessman Zoltan Teszari, comprises two companies - Romanian Cable Systems (RCS) founded in 1994, and Romanian Data Systems (RDS) founded in 1998. Its parent company, Cable Communication Systems, now Digi Communications N.V. [BSE:DIGI], indirectly operates telecommunications groups in Hungary, Spain and Italy through RCS&RDS.
Digi is part of BVB's blue-chip BET and BET-TR indices.
Shares of Digi traded 0.17% higher at 29.7 lei on the BVB as at 0933 CET on Friday.
