September 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian carmaker Dacia, a unit of France's Renault, said on Thursday that Jerome Olive has been appointed as interim director general of Dacia and Renault Romania.
Olive is replacing Antoine Doucerain, who resigned after just four months in the position due to personal reasons, Renault said in a press release.

"Jerome Olive's responsibilities and duties will be exercised during the interim period until Groupe Renault will make a new nomination," the company added.
Doucerain took over on May 1, 2018, replacing Yves Caracatzanis, who took on another position within Groupe Renault. Caracatzanis became director general of Dacia and Renault Romania in April 2016.
Jerome Olive was director general of Dacia and Groupe Renault Romania between 2010 and 2013. Subsequently, he held various industrial management positions for the Euromed Africa Region and then took on as senior vice president of Supply Chain and Process Engineering for the Eurasian region.
Renault bought Automobile Dacia, an ailing state-owned Romanian company at the time, in 1999.
Groupe Renault Romania worldwide sales under the Automobile Dacia brand rose 13.4% on the year in the first half on 2018, reaching record-high 378,095 units.
Dacia topped the SeeNews ranking of the 100 biggest companies by total revenue in Southeast Europe in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
