ZAGREB (Croatia), November 14 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Wednesday its net profit rose to 50 million euro ($56.5 million) in the first nine months of 2018 from 12 million euro in the like period of last year.
RBI generated an operating income of 156 million euro in Croatia in the first nine months of 2018, down 7.3% on the year, figures from RBI's nine-month financial report showed.
Net fee and commission income fell by 1.6% to 54 million euro, while net interest income shrank 5.3% to 91 million euro, RBI said.
The lender's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Croatia was 12.5% at the end of September. The coverage of NPLs with provisions was 81.6%.
RBI's total assets in Croatia rose by 9.0% year-on-year to 4.9 billion euro at the end of September.

RBI's Croatian unit had about 500,000 customers at end-September, down 2.8% year-on-year, and operated in 78 business outlets, up three on the year.
