January 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange rose around 1.0% each on Friday, thanks to gains in Podravka [ZSE:PODR], Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] and Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB], bourse data showed.
The 20-share benchmark CROBEX advanced 0.98% to close at 2,554.52 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 1.03% to end at a fresh all-time high, 1,551.41 points.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka was the most traded company with a turnover of 126,000 euro ($138,000) as its shared surged 3.11% to 166 euro.
Shares of ICT equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla soared 2.87% to 215 euro in a turnover of 113,000 euro, following an increase of 2.96% on Thursday.
Shares of HPB appreciated 1.62% to 188 euro in a turnover of 107,300 euro.
Confectionary producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] was the biggest daily gainer. Its equity price jumped 16.50% to close at 120 euro as 410 of its shares hanged hands.
The regular turnover slightly declined to 942,500 euro from 964,000 euro on Thursday.
