January 29 (SeeNews) - Despite a decline of liquidity, the main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange advanced on Monday on gains in Podravka [ZSE:PODR], bourse data showed.
The total on-exchange turnover fell to 1.1 million euro ($1.2 million) from 1.3 million euro on Friday.
The 20-share benchmark CROBEX ended 0.39% higher at 2,642.61 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.32% to 1,593.69 points.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] was the most traded company with a daily turnover of 272,000 euro as its shares gained 0.90% to 16.85 euro. They are part of the wider index.
Shares of food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka appreciated 0.60% to 169 euro in a turnover of 121,000 euro.
In lower turnovers, shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] fell 0.36% to 27.40 euro, while software developer Span [ZSE:SPAN] declined 0.60% to 49.40 euro.
