March 26 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Wednesday, with energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] gaining most among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.24% to 726.98 points on Thursday, after gaining 2.68% on Wednesday.
Four of SBITOP's 11 components closed the session higher, five ended lower, and two remained unchanged.
Petrol paced the blue-chip gainers, advancing 1.79% to 285 euro ($313).
Trading in the shares of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed the largest turnover among the blue chips on Thursday - of 1.05 million euro.
The bourse did not provide a figure for its total daily turnover.
