PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 24 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, serviced a total of 256,332 passengers combined in the first quarter of 2019, up 7.2% on the year, data from the country's statistical office shows.
Podgorica airport serviced 191,728 passengers in the first quarter of 2019, up 6.5% on the year, according to data released by the statistical office.
Tivat airport handled 64,604 passengers in January-March, up 9.2%.
The total number of aircraft serviced by the two airports went up by 3.3% in the period under review, to 3,174, whereas cargo volume increased 10.4% to 202 tonnes.
