At present, OT Logistics has no plans of selling its stake in Luka Rijeka, it added.
Croatian media reported earlier this month that OT Logistics planned to sell part of the shares it owns in Luka Rijeka to a Chinese investor.
In December, OT Logistics expanded its stake in Luka Rijeka by 2.70% to 35.26% following the completion of a takeover bid. The Polish company acted in concert with pension funds run by AZ and Erste, which hold smaller stakes in Luka Rijeka, under a shareholders' agreement signed in September. The parties to the agreement then controlled 59.31% of Luka Rijeka among themselves.
Following the sale of a 8.75% stake in Luka Rijeka by OT Logistics to a Poland-based fund operated by PFR Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych (PFR TFI) in January, the partners continue to control 50.56% shareholding interest in the port operator.
