March 31 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Tuesday with telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] leading the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Optima Telekom recorded the highest gain among the blue chips for a second consecutive day on Tuesday, jumping 7.11% to close at 4.78 kuna.
All other nine blue-chip companies also advanced or closed the session unchanged from a day earlier.
Trading in blue-chip hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] contributed the highest single portion of the ZSE's total turnover. Its share price closed up 7.11% at 24.10 kuna in a 5.1 million kuna turnover.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 16.4 million kuna ($2.4 million/2.1 million euro) on Tuesday, from 11.3 million kuna on Monday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index advanced by 2.10% to 1,480.51 after falling 0.52% on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 1.76% to 917.27 points on Tuesday after rising by 0.03% on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.02% to 111.1100.
