October 13 (SeeNews) - Telecommunications services provider One Albania introduced a new digital television service that includes an Android box to upgrade smart television devices and an application for on-demand access to television content.
The platform, operating under the name One TV, involves live TV as well as content on demand, with subscriptions allowing access from three different devices, One Albania said.
Previously, the telecom provider exclusively delivered television content by broadcasting selected channels over the internet using IPTV.
One Albania is an indirect subsidiary of Hungary’s IT service management company 4iG, which in 2022 merged the country’s largest telecom network operator at the time, Albtelecom, with One Telecommunications, into a single operator, One Albania.
