May 23 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 11,262 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 8.2 million dinars. NIS share price went up 0.28% to 725 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.49% higher at 734.61 points.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.60% to 2,799 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.30% to 1,561.62.
The total turnover on the bourse declined to 46.7 million dinars ($440,565/396,000 euro) on Thursday, from 63.6 million dinars on Wednesday, as 121 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 573,500 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
