May 26 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 11,371 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 6.7 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.85% at 590 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.04% at 669.21 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.10% at 1,484.60.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 17.9 million dinars ($167,000/152,200 euro) on Tuesday, down from 130.8 million dinars on Monday, as 83 transactions were carried out.
