January 28 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,986 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 2.3 million dinars. NIS closed flat at 759 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 1.09% at 806.50 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price grew 5.23% to 1,047 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.62% at 1,730.29.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 489.5 million dinars ($4.6 million/4.2 million euro) on Tuesday, up from 47 million dinars on Monday, as 88 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 483.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
