April 18 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,752 NIS shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.3 million dinars. NIS won 0.13% and closed at 746 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.05% higher at 747.79 points.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 2.17% to 11,699 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.04% at 1,603.06.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 14.3 million dinars ($136,204/121,173 euro) on Thursday from 259.9 million dinars on Wednesday, as 358 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 3.2 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Thursday.
