January 29 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 716 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 540,877 dinars. NIS closed down 0.53% at 755 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.06% at 805.99 points.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price grew 0.46% to 3,500 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.05% at 1,731.24.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 252.7 million dinars ($2.4 million/2.1 million euro) on Wednesday, down from 489.5 million dinars on Tuesday, as 119 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 248.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
