September 11 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,067 of NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.1 million dinars. The company won 0.29% and closed at 680 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, closed flat at 722.43 points on Tuesday. The index declined 0.32% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.03% to 1,518.75 points on Tuesday, after decreasing 0.12% on Monday.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] paced the blue-chip decliners list on Tuesday, after falling 0.61% and closing at 2,783 dinars. A total of 40 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 111,300 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 2.7 million dinars ($26,388/22,777 euro) on Tuesday from 4.2 million dinars on Monday, as 110 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 80,750 dinars.
