May 28 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 11,398 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 6.8 million dinars. NIS closed flat at 599 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.09% at 668.65 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.35% to 868 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.12% at 1,488.72.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 8.4 million dinars ($78,900/71,400 euro) on Thursday, down from 14.2 million dinars on Wednesday, as 82 transactions were carried out.
