January 22 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday and led the blue-chip gainers' list, as stock indices rose, bourse data showed.
A total of 442 of NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 303,654 dinars. NIS' share price rose 0.44% to 687 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed 0.09% higher at 700.53 points on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.02% to 1,518.62 points.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 1.4 million dinars ($13,407/11,822 euro) on Tuesday from 2.7 million dinars on Monday, as 143 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 837,455 dinars.
No bonds were traded on Tuesday.
