January 18 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices rose, bourse data showed.
A total of 505 NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 345,344 dinars. NIS' shares closed unchanged at 684 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed 0.22% higher at 699.11 points on Friday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] was the top gainer, as its share price on the open market rose 4.93% to 149 dinars in a volume of 30 shares.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.19% to 1,517.95 points.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 3.8 million dinars ($36,473/32,092 euro) on Friday from 25.2 million dinars on Thursday, as 92 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 945,000 dinars.
No bonds were traded on Friday
