June 16 (SeeNews) - The stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange ended down on Thursday, with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed 3.21% lower at 572 dinars on Thursday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.70% at 820.39 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.27% at 1,668.64.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 9.9 million dinars ($88,200/84,300 euro) on Thursday, down from 52.8 million dinars on Wednesday, as 79 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 35,250 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 3.6 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Thursday.
