BUCHAREST (Romania), February 18 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania decreased 10.5% to 12,489 in January, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Tuesday.
Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU decreased by 30.2% year-on-year, reaching 28,743 units in January, ACEA said in a statement. Dacia's market share decreased to 3% in January compared to 4% in the same period of last year.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 7.5% in January, reaching 956,779 units.
New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 23.4% year-on-year to 161,562 in 2019.
