March 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria decreased by an annual 16.2% to 4,318 in the first two months of the year, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday, citing provisional figures.
In February alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria dropped 29.2% to 1,988, ACEA said in a press release.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 7.4% to 1.9 million in the first two months of 2019.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations were 7.8% lower on the year at 211,782.
In 2019, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations increased by 3% to 35,371.
