December 5 (SeeNews) - Sales of new passenger cars in Croatia decreased 15.3% month-on-month to 3,475 in November after growing by 15.5% in October, market research agency Promocija Plus said on Thursday.
In the first eleven months of 2019, the sales of new cars in Croatia increased by 2.2% on the year to 58,916, Promocija Plus said in an e-mailed statement.
Volkswagen was the top-selling brand in the country of some 4.2 million people with 614 vehicles sold in November, down from 717 a month earlier.
Skoda was the runner-up with 389 cars sold in November, down from 457 in October, while Renault ranked third with 283, up from 258 in October.
In the January-November period, Volkswagen was the most popular brand with a total of 8,053 cars sold, followed by Skoda with 5,639 and Renault with 5,513.
The best-selling car models in Croatia in November were Skoda Octavia, of which 223 units were sold, followed by Volkswagen Golf with 132 and Renault Clio with 85.
