August 19 (SeeNews) - Fertilisers maker Neochim [BUL:3NB] led gainers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Monday, amid a surge in total daily trading turnover.
Neochim shares jumped 11.11% to a closing price of 24.0 levs, but still remain 3.2% lower since the start of August. The closing price was set by a deal for a single Neochim share.

Total daily regulated market turnover soared to 3.24 million levs ($1.8 million/1.7 million euro) on Monday from 207,200 levs in the preceding trading session, as nearly 93% of the total turnover was formed by deals in 235 Holdings [BUL:94G] and Green Town Projects [BUL:GT2] shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which has 15 members, edged up 0.03% to 575.28 points on Monday, backed by a 1.46% rise in the share price of diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4].
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, added 0.09% to 113.87 points, backed by Neochim.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, decreased by a slim 0.03% to 506.53 points, dragged down by a 1.50% fall in the share price of car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed the session unchanged at 126.50 points.
