April 23 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian flour milling and baked goods company Zito Polog [MSE:ZPOG] said on Tuesday that it turned to a non-consolidated net profit of 6.3 million denars ($115,000/103,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from a net loss of 319,000 levs in the same period of last year.
The company's total operating revenue rose 21% on the year to 92 million denars in the January-March period, Zito Polog said in an interim financial statement.
Sales revenue grew by an annual 30% to 88.2 million denars in the review period.
Total operating expenses increased 20% year-on-year to 90.2 million denars in the first three months of 2019, as cost of goods sold soared to 14.4 million denars from 1.6 million denars a year earlier.
