August 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based flour milling and baked goods company Zito Polog [MSE:ZPOG] said that it turned to a consolidated net profit of 11.5 million denars ($208,000/186,000 euro) in the first half of 2019 from a net loss of 2.5 million denars in the same period of last year.
Zito Polog's total operating revenue edged down 3% year-on-year to 195.1 million denars in the January-June period of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales fell by an annual 6% to 181.4 million denars. Zito Polog booked revenue of 9.3 million denars on foreign markets in the first six months of the year, versus none in the like period of 2018.
Operating expenses decreased 10% to 183.3 million denars in the review period, following an 11% drop in expenses for materials, to 104.9 million denars.
