August 9 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based food company Vitaminka [MSE:VITA] said on Friday that its non-consolidated net profit plunged by an annual 84% to 7.5 million denars ($137,000/122,000 euro) in the first half of 2019.
Vitaminka's operating revenue grew 20% to 1.14 billion denars in the January-June period of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales added 17% to 659 million denars, while sales abroad were 22% higher at 458 million denars.
The company's operating expenses rose 15% to 1.07 billion denars in the review period, as expenses for materials increased 16% to 670 million denars.
Vitaminka specialises in the production of chocolate confectionery and crisp snacks.
