March 13 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based cigarette producer Tutunski Kombinat Prilep [MSE:TKPR] said on Wednesday that its net profit went up 18% on the year in 2023, reaching 164.9 million denars ($2.9 million/2.7 million euro).
Total operating revenues edged down 1% on the year to 841.9 million denars, while operating costs rose 5% to 952.5 million denars in 2023, the company said in an annual financial statement.
The tobacco producer increased its financial revenue 30% on an annual comparison basis in 2023, to 313.6 million denars. At the same time, financial expenses fell 8% on the year to 38.2 million denars last year.
Its shares have not traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) in the past year.
