March 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian lender Stopanska Banka Skopje [MSE:STB] said that its non-consolidated net profit rose to 2.75 billion denars ($50.6 million/44.7 million euro) in 2018 from 2.04 billion denars the year before.
The bank's net interest income increased to 3.83 billion denars last year from 3.68 billion denars in 2017, Stopanska Banka Skopje said in an unaudited financial statement last week.
Net fee and commission income grew to 1.0 billion denars in the review period from 981.8 million denars in 2017.
Foreign exchange gains edged down to 105.2 million denars from 107.7 million denars, while other operating income rose to 560.5 million denars from 480.8 million denars.
The lender's personnel expenses increased to 869.8 million denars from 801.1 million denars in 2017, while other operating expenses remained flattish at 1 billion denars.
