September 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said on Friday it gave the green light to local insurer Triglav Osiguruvanje [MSE:VROS], part of Slovenian insurance group Triglav, to increase its capital by 2.4 million euro ($2.4 million).
Triglav Osiguruvanje will issue 47,120 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of 50 euro, at a price of 50 euro per share, the SEC said in a statement.
The newly issued shares will be purchased by the insurer's parent company, Ljubljana-based Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d.
Triglav’s share capital consisted of 60,184 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 50 euro per share by December 31, 2021, according to the latest financial statement on their website.
Triglav Osiguruvanje had the largest market share among the non-life insurers in the first half of 2022, when its gross written premiums reached 843.12 million denars, according to the latest data by the country's insurance supervision agency.
