September 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said it gave the nod to local Capital Bank to raise 2.6 million euro ($2.6 million) through a private placement of a new share issue.
Capital Bank will issue 14,564 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of 178 euro, at a price of 178 euro per share, the SEC said in a statement on Thursday.
The newly issued shares will be purchased by the bank's majority owner, Bulgaria-based investment group Alfa Finance Holding.
The bank has a registered equity capital of 855.7 million denars divided into 28,742 shares with a par value of 29,771 denars each, the bank's latest financial statement showed.
Capital Bank is 98.43%-owned by Alfa Finance Holding. Local wool producer Todor Dzipovski Merdzan Teteks owns 1.09% and Skopje-based lender TTK Banka holds a 0.48% stake, according to data published on the lender's website.
