SKOPJE (North Macedonia), August 20 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 3.9% year-on-year in June, after growing by 1.7% in May, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 4.1% on the year to 25,205 denars ($451/407 euro) in June, Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 11.7%, was registered in the sector of healthcare and social work activities, followed by transportation and storage with a rise of 10.3%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia edged down 0.3% in June.
