SKOPJE (North Macedonia), May 21 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 2.3% year-on-year in March, after growing by 2.1% in February, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 3.8% on the year to 24,590 denars ($443.2/397.0 euro) in March, Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 11.4%, was registered in the sector of healthcare and social work, followed by agriculture, forestry and fishing with a rise of 8.2%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia rose by 1.6% in March.
