June 22 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's real net wage edged up 0.3% year-on-year in April after rising 1.2% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 10.9% on the year in April reaching 31,525 denars ($538.3/511.8 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 24.8% - was registered in the accommodation and food services sector, followed by a 20.1% rise in the arts, entertainment and recreation segment.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia fell 0.8% in April.
