March 29 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's gross foreign debt totalled 11.5 billion euro ($12.4 billion) at the end of 2023, up 6.2% year-on-year, the central bank said on Friday.
At the end of 2023, gross foreign debt was equivalent to 83.9% of the gross domestic product projected for that year, the central bank said in a statement.
Compared with the level at end-September, North Macedonia's gross foreign debt was up 3.5% at the end of December.
The country's net foreign debt totalled 4.5 billion euro at the end of 2023, up 3.4% on an annual comparison basis.
