SKOPJE (North Macedonia), May 14 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in February rose 56.5% year-on-year to 277, the state statistical office said on Tuesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in March increased by an annual 32.6% to 3.1 billion denars ($55.7 million/49.6 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In March, 106 permits were issued for new buildings, 35 for civil engineering projects, and 136 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 125 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 276 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 28,520 sq m.
