SKOPJE (North Macedonia), September 10 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in July rose 2.9% year-on-year to 284, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in July increased by an annual 1.4% to 4.7 billion denars ($84.2 million/76.3 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In July, 180 permits were issued for new buildings, 40 for civil engineering projects, and 64 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 189 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 1,184 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 80,512 sq m.
