August 17 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in June decreased by an annual 13% to 277, the statistical office said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in June decreased 19% to 3.7 billion denars ($61 million/60 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in June, 132 were for new buildings, 57 for civil engineering projects and 88 for reconstruction projects. Of the total, 147 permits were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 550 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 40,493 sq m.
