SKOPJE (North Macedonia), August 15 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in June fell 1.5% year-on-year to 202, the state statistical office said on Thursday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in June decreased by an annual 23% to 2.3 billion denars ($40.9 million/36.6 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In June, 128 permits were issued for new buildings, 26 for civil engineering projects, and 48 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 124 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 516 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 34,471 sq m.
