May 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian construction company Beton Skopje [MSE:BESK] said that its non-consolidated net profit rose by an annual 6% to 2.5 million denars ($46,000/41,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019.
The company's operating revenue decreased 4% year-on-year to 249 million denars in the January-March period of this year, Beton Skopje said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Beton Skopje's operating expenses fell 11% on the year to 221.5 million denars.
Expenses for materials dropped 10% to 49.1 million denars, while amortisation and depreciation costs were 31% lower at 23.1 million denars.
Beton Skopje, founded in 1947, designs and builds houses, roads, bridges, tunnels, hydro systems and factories.
